FLASH STREET PORTRAITS

In 2024, I started taking close-up photos of strangers with a wide-angle lens and an off-camera flash.
There are extremely interesting people out there and the flash reveals astonishing facial detail.
Some of these shots are candid photos, but mostly I ask for permission first.

I received an Honorable Mention for a subset of these photos from PISPA 2024,
the Paris International Street Photography Awards competition.
